OVERVIEW

Holofy is on the forefront of developing augmented reality-based software for mobile devices. By using the device's built-in camera, Holofy's software generates advertising directly on top of traditional advertisements (print, billboard, bus shelters). These augmented advertisements deliver highly-relevant retail information and location-specific promotions, deals, and coupons to the user.

CONCEPT

Augmented reality is still in its infancy and a relatively unknown technology, but is fairly reminiscent of 3D. People generally know that a 3D image without the special glasses looks blurred with offset and overlapping colors. The design was created to connect with the familiar technology of 3D, yet evoke the feelings of something different and new.

PRODUCT IDENTITY

Holofy offers to developers a Software Development Kit (SDK) to build the augmented reality technology into their mobile applications. To achieve a sense of exclusivity with this audience, a B2B version of the brand identity was created. The logo was converted to outlines to depict the primary purpose of the SDK; a back-end structure and code framework.
